Area: 9,600 square feet
Site & Program: This project consists of the expansion of a synagogue in an urban area. The addition houses classrooms, offices and a redesigned 100-seat chapel.
Design: The success of the Nagle Hartray addition is evidenced by the difficulty distinguishing it from the original building. The addition improves the fit of the synagogue within its urban context by defining a stronger presence at the street corner. The architecture extends the language of the original building including its primary exterior material, which is Kasota stone.
